Thomas Gray has served as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Communication since fall semester of 2004. He has taught 12 different courses, primarily in the public relations and journalism concentration areas. In addition to his teaching assignments, he has served as the department’s intern coordinator the past three years.
Earlier in his career Gray was a major market radio and television news anchor and reporter. Working for local news outlets in Indianapolis, he regularly filed reports for ABC Radio News and CBS Television News. He was later recruited by The Coca-Cola Company where he served as Corporate Media Relations Manager and Director of International Communication and Administration in the External Affairs Department. He also worked at The Home Depot, Inc. where he had primary responsibility for communication matters related to the company’s Midwest and International operations. This was in addition to his role as the lead public relations counsel for the company’s sports and Olympic programs.
Gray has an M.A. in Journalism from Ball State University and a B.A. in Communication from Indiana University.
